Terms of Service

1. Who we are

“Aliplaces”, “we”, “us” refers to the Aliplaces service. “You” refers to anyone who accesses or uses it, whether as a viewer, an owner, or a visitor.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be able to form a binding contract to use Aliplaces.
• You're responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Authentication is handled through our sign-in provider.
• You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.

3. The role of Aliplaces

Aliplaces is a venue for discovery and introductions. We do not own, manage, inspect, or guarantee any listing, and we are not a broker, agent, or party to transactions between users. Any agreement, viewing, deposit, or rental is solely between the viewer and the owner.

4. Listings & content

• Owners are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings and must follow the Listing Guidelines.
• Public listings go through verification and review: owners submit one private legitimacy document and confirm they're authorized to list the place, and our team approves the listing before it appears publicly. Review is a legitimacy check, not a guarantee or an endorsement of the listing.
• You keep ownership of content you post, but grant Aliplaces a license to host and display it to operate the service.
• We may remove content or listings that violate our rules, and may do so without prior notice when needed.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the platform. This includes following our Community Standards — no fraud, harassment, illegal activity, scraping, or attempts to disrupt the service.

6. Payments

• Owner subscriptions & boosts. Aliplaces offers paid owner plans, Studio add-on modules, and listing boosts. They're priced on our Pricing page, paid online via PayMongo where available or activated manually after a confirmed payment, and governed by these terms and the Refund Policy.
• No bookings, no escrow. Aliplaces does not process bookings, and rent or deposits between viewers and owners are not paid to Aliplaces.
• Studio payment links. Owners may generate PayMongo payment links to collect rent from their own tenants. Those payments go to the owner; Aliplaces provides the tooling but is not a party to — and takes no commission on — that transaction.

7. Third-party services

We rely on third parties for maps, image hosting, and authentication. Your use of features powered by them may also be subject to their terms. Links and contact methods provided by owners lead off-platform, and we're not responsible for third-party sites or services.

8. Disclaimers

Aliplaces is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that listings are accurate, available, or safe, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. You use the platform — and meet other users — at your own risk. Please read our Safety Guidelines.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aliplaces is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for disputes, losses, or harm arising from interactions or agreements between users.

10. Termination

You may stop using Aliplaces at any time and request deletion of your account via Data Deletion Request. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Significant changes will be reflected by an updated date, and continued use means you accept the revised terms.
