Refund Policy

This policy covers what Aliplaces itself charges for — owner subscriptions and listing boosts. Rent and deposits between viewers and owners are separate.

What Aliplaces charges for

Viewers are never charged. Owners may pay for a subscription plan, Studio add-on modules, or a listing boost. Those charges — and only those — are covered by this policy.

Subscriptions (plans & modules)

  • You can switch to the Free plan at any time; your paid features stay active for the period you already paid for.
  • If we charged you in error, or your plan was never activated after a confirmed manual payment, contact us and we'll correct it — refund or activation, your choice.
  • Partially used subscription periods aren't refunded pro-rata by default, but we review genuine issues (like a major outage on our side) case by case.

Listing boosts

Boosts activate once payment is confirmed and run for their fixed period. If a boost you paid for never activated, we'll re-run it or refund it.

Rent & deposits between users

Deposits and rent are paid to owners, not to Aliplaces — even when an owner sends a PayMongo payment link generated from their Studio, that money goes to the owner. Refunds for those payments are a matter between the viewer and the owner. We encourage written terms and receipts — see our Safety Guidelines.

How to request a refund

  1. Email support@aliplaces.com from your account email with the plan or boost, the date, and the amount.
  2. We'll acknowledge it and investigate.
  3. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method (or by arrangement for manual payments like bank transfer or cash).

Chargebacks & disputes

Please raise a billing issue with us before opening a dispute with your payment provider — most problems are fixed faster that way. Nothing in this policy reduces your statutory rights as a consumer.
