Trust & Safety
Listing guidelines
Good listings are honest, complete, and respectful. These rules keep Aliplaces useful and trustworthy for everyone.
Last updated July 17, 2026
Every listing must be
- Real. A genuine place you own or are authorized to list. No fake, duplicate, or placeholder listings.
- Accurate. The title, description, price, category, and map location must match the actual property.
- Yours to post. Only upload photos and content you have the right to use.
Photos
- Use clear, recent photos of the actual place.
- Don't use stock images, stolen photos, or pictures of a different property.
- No heavily edited images that misrepresent the space.
- Don't include other people in photos without their consent.
Pricing & details
- Show a clear price and state what's included.
- Be upfront about deposits, house rules, and restrictions.
- Keep your listing updated; mark it unavailable when it's taken.
Not allowed
- Illegal activity, or properties that can't be lawfully offered.
- Discrimination based on protected characteristics.
- Misleading “bait” pricing or hidden mandatory fees.
- Spam, duplicate posts, or keyword stuffing.
- Contact details or content that violate our Community Standards.
- Off-platform payment demands before a viewing (see safety).
Verification & review
Before a listing appears publicly on Explore, we verify it's legitimate:
- You upload one private proof appropriate to the listing — for example a property document or broker authorization for rentals and sales, a Business Permit for shops and restaurants, or a short-stay authorization for condo and vacation stays.
- You confirm a short declaration that you own the place or are authorized to list it.
- An Aliplaces reviewer checks the listing and approves it, asks for changes, or declines it. Material edits to an approved listing send it back to review.
- Proof documents are never shown to visitors. They're stored privately and only authorized Aliplaces reviewers can open them, through short-lived links.
- Publishing is optional — drafts and their private Studios work without verification.
Enforcement
Listings that break these guidelines may be hidden or removed, and repeat or serious violations can lead to account suspension. We review reports and may act without prior notice when safety is at risk.
